6 weeks

Bryan is now 6 weeks old!!!! My days are now filled with the wonderful AHHCOO sounds and smiles.... actual smiles when I pick him up. I also get these wonderful loving looks when I breastfeed~ makes a Momma so happy.

Trying to capture these moments on my camera phone are almost impossible. He would smile then click.... missed the shot! But my heart melts everytime he coos and smiles ~love this lil guy.

We took the boys to The Rattle Snake Roundup in Waurika, Ok this weekend. Don't you love how my preteen and his cousin Branson don't smile when I pull out the camera~ they are much too cool for that. Logan was thrilled to get a batman symbol painted on his face & there were lots of rides and wonderful fried food~ it was more like a carnaval then we expected. We did eat some Rattlesnake which I will never do again unless stuck out in nature with no food and happen to kill a snake for dinner.

We had so much fun.. Gregg and I rode the rides with the kids~ I haven't laughed that much in a while~ we will attend this round up next year for sure :)

Spring Break

This Spring Break we had tons of visitors ~Poppa,Grandma, Abigial and Kyra (the exchange student living with the McKee's~ Kyra is from Germany and we learned lots from her) More Pictures to come...waiting on Abigail to send them :)

We were also blessed to have my Mom come out for several days to help me with the boys. Zach also took some spring break time to come visit us as well :)

So....now I am back in baby land~ which include the sleepless nights (we are up every 2-3 hours), baby puke and breast milk covering my shirts. But despite the delirious state that I am in~I have fallen in LOVE and I can sit and stare are him for hours...

We have set up his space in the master bedroom as I will be breast feeding I felt it was best to keep him close and instead of disrupting the big boys rooms he is set up in ours :) My friends who threw the shower made these B R Y A N letters and it was set up on the sign in table. So we thought it would be great above the crib~
We have tons of diapers, wipes, sooo many clothes, a beautiful bed and super cute jungle bedding set. I can't wait to post pictures of my shower but I am still waiting on my friend to edit the pictures. It was an amazing shower and we are soo ready for Bryan's arrival.



It snowed yesterday and when I looked outside I saw all these wonderful cardinals in our trees. There were more birds I couldn't get in the shot~ I counted 16 males and lots of females. It made me feel so peaceful and so happy. So far Bryan will be born C-section on March 6th~the day before my birthday!! Unless I go into labor before hand which is ok by me teehee~

either way what an amazing BIRTHDAY gift!!

I have been home for the past few weeks with health issues~ the Dr. is not realeasing me to go back to work~ Which is fine by me. I was in the hospital again last Thursday and I finally passed 1 of the 2 kidney stones that is in my bladder. It is definitely more difficult to be pregnant when you are older or at least it seems to be more difficult. This pregnancy seems so hard, I am so tired, been so sick but I am also sooo excited to meet our new guy. It seems we have had so much loss in the past few years this lil blessing has me excited and overjoyed I almost can't contain myself. So I spend the past few days sitting by a lovely fire and knitting this cute munchkin hat. It had been sooo long since I pulled out those knitting needles I actually had to pull up a video to help get me started~ Now I will spend my time planning for this huge baby shower my Best friend Missy is planning at the end of the month.

Happy Halloween!! It's a.........

Here is our beautiful baby BOY!!!!!!! Logan was disappointed at first but I just knew it was a boy and we are so excited he is beautiful & healthy...now to pick names. As soon as Logan got through the shock of having another brother he said loudly "we should name him Carmine!!" Well now it is an option ;)

Today has been jam packed I worked all night last night, today was Logan's school Halloween party, trick or treating tonight and we got to see our new baby in ultrasound. We have been celebrating Halloween for the past week with nightly activities. This is one of my favorite holidays but I will kinda be glad it is over.

WE have EGGS!!!!!!!!

We love our chickens~ we feed them all kinds of scraps from the kitchen, our juicer and what they don't eat (like lemons) attracts bugs that they do eat :)

We bought a straight run which is supposed to be all one sex but we lucked out~ we ended up with 1 Rooster. Can you see him in the back?
We thought it was funny that one chick was bigger than the rest we called "her" BUTCH but just recently we noticed "she" was a "he" which is wonderful news. He cocka doodle do's every morning about 5 am and then again at around 5 pm! Such a cool sound :)

Yesterday Gregg went out to tend the chicks and there were 4 eggs!! Yay!!!
